Our Owner/Director

Tammy Barr has over 10 years of daycare experience. She started working at a daycare in Mt. Pleasant to gain experience to eventually become a Owner/Director. Her children attended the oldest daycare in Mt. Pleasant and the opportunity came up for her to buy the daycare. She owned it for 8 years and decided she needed to open one a little closer to home. So that one was sold and is still operating. Then she had the great opportunity to open this one and be one of the decision makers thru out the whole process and she jumped at the chance. It was a long 17 month period from start to opening and her goal is to make Village Square Childcare the BEST.

Our Assistant Director         

 Linda Grooms is our assistant.  She has worked in the childcare business for 27 years.  Linda is a great asset to Village Square Childcare 

Our teachers

Our teachers have a wide range of experience, most of the teachers have worked at other Childcare facilities or home daycares for many years. Some have attended college to get their degrees or diplomas in Early Childhood education, or other types of courses for further education. Almost all of them have their own children so have the experience of 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
